LAFAYETTE, Ind. (WLFI) — If you’re looking for a local place to grab a bite to eat, Ripple and Company has you covered.
The downtown restaurant is officially back open and ready for customers.
The restaurant opened up during the pandemic in December of 2020.
Over time, staff members learned community members were looking for a different atmosphere when going out.
Ripple and Company owners took community feedback in mind when revamping the restaurant.
Scott Trzaskus, partner with Ripple and Company, told News 18 there are two things, in particular, that got the restaurant through tough times.
“It’s our guests and our employees. It’s been difficult on both,” Trzaskus told News 18. “People have been nervous to come out and eat. And our staff, it was a very difficult time for them. Both have gotten through it.”
Ripple and Company has also expanded its menu.
The restaurant now includes more salad, street taco, and sandwich options.
Trzaskus says staff members are excited to see folks come back.
“There’s a real energy that’s in the building right now,” Trzaskus explained to News 18.
“I think it’s in large part due to the changes we’re making…a large part of the fact the weather is breaking.”
