On Wednesday, the cryptocurrency market showed mixed trends as the global crypto market cap declined by 0.22% over the last 24 hours. However, Bitcoin was down by 0.10%, and altcoins like XRP and Uniswap advanced.
In the crypto space, the world’s oldest and most popular crypto, Bitcoin, lost 0.10 percent to $20,502.06 on 2 November. Its closest rival, Ethereum, is trading at $1,590.50, rising by 0.07 percent over the past day, at the time of writing this article (1030 IST).
Altcoins show mixed trends
Meanwhile, cryptos like XRP, Dai, Uniswap, Litecoin, and Chainlink were up by 0.46 percent, 0.02 percent, 2.27 percent, 0.56 percent, and 0.96 percent, respectively. On the other hand, Cardano slipped by 1.82 percent, Solana was down by 1.06 percent, Polygon lost 3.12 percent and Avalanche slumped by 4.03 percent, since the previous day.
The global crypto market cap stood at $1.02 trillion, declining by 0.22 percent since the previous day, while the total crypto market volume witnessed a decrease of 16.01 percent to $72.91 billion.
Today’s top gainers included Toncoin and Chiliz, which gained by 9.49 percent and 5.28 percent, respectively. On the contrary, Terra Classic and Klaytn were among the top losers.
Meme tokens
Meme coins were in the red today. Dogecoin was trading at $0.1419 with a loss of 0.42 percent, while Shiba Inu was down by 1.17 percent at $0.00001269.
Metaverse in the red
Well-known Metaverse tokens like ApeCoin, The Sandbox, Decentraland, and Axie Infinity were trading with cuts today.
