Jackson has a background in traditional financial services spanning investment research, investor relations, and business development. He has worked at both large established Wall Street firms and small start-ups.
While Jackson found merit and challenges in his work in the financial services industry, he found meaning in bitcoin. A casual “Bitcoiner” in 2017, initially attracted by the number-go-up technology, later became a true “Bitcoiner” in 2020. His interest in bitcoin became less associated with the monetary value and viewing bitcoin as an investment, but instead became compelled by the idea that bitcoin is a new sound money technology. Jackson now writes about bitcoin through the “sound life” lens, current events, macroeconomics, and the investment landscape. In addition to writing, Jackson is seeking full-time employment at a Bitcoin-only company to utilize his client relations, research, and writing skill set.
