State police are investigating what they’re calling a fraud in which a Westmoreland County store employee put store money into the business’s Bitcoin ATM after being coerced over the phone.According to police, the incident happened a little before 5:30 p.m. on June 16 at a business located in the area of 6750 Hollywood Boulevard in Salem Township.Police said the employee put approximately $2,685 into the ATM that’s located in the store.Police said the store owner was made aware and the fraud was determined.Police said they’re actively investigating the situation.
