A popular crypto trader and analyst is predicting rallies for a trio of altcoins as long as Bitcoin (BTC) can hold onto current price levels.<\/p>\n
The pseudonymous trader known as Altcoin Sherpa tells his 169,400 Twitter followers that he\u2019s eyeing potential gains for smart contract platform Terra (LUNA), the non-fungible token (NFT) marketplace LooksRare (LOOKS), and multi-chain liquidity hub Kyber Network Crystal (KNC).<\/p>\n
The trader says he\u2019s also looking at cross-chain liquidity network THORChain<\/a> (Rune), blockchain-based game Axie Infinity<\/a> (AXS), and layer-1 blockchain protocol Solana<\/a>.<\/p>\n Best Active #altcoins<\/a> to trade as long as $BTC<\/a> doesn’t shit itself IMO: $LUNA<\/a> $LOOKS<\/a> $KNC<\/a> (maybe $RUNE<\/a>) <\/p>\n Best swing trades:$AXS<\/a> $SOL<\/a> pic.twitter.com\/9luL9lbiii<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Altcoin Sherpa (@AltcoinSherpa) March 1, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n At time of writing, Terra<\/a> is up 5.95% and priced at $93.29, while LooksRare<\/a> has jumped 8.63% and is changing hands for $1.42.<\/p>\n Kyber Network Crystal<\/a> is also surging, having risen 18.15% to $2.84 at time of writing.<\/p>\n Regarding Bitcoin, Altcoin Sherpa says he expects<\/a> the king crypto to keep running higher past $50,000.<\/p>\n \u201cIf this is anything like September then you\u2019re not going to many pullbacks for a little bit; my guess is low\/mid 50ks.<\/em><\/p>\n This vertical accumulation is in play but I would wait to see what happens around 46k; a key level in my opinion.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The trader sets<\/a> $40,000 as an important support level after BTC\u2019s recent lurch to the upside.<\/p>\n \u201cWatching 40k to see if we get a pullback. If this is like September then we\u2019ll see vertical accumulation and Bitcoin is not going to dip (unless on low time frames) much at all for a bit.<\/em><\/p>\n I\u2019m guessing I won\u2019t get this in the short term.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n The pseudonymous crypto analyst follows up<\/a> on a tweet where he polled whether people expected Bitcoin to retest lows in the $27-$30,000 range. He updates the low range to $34,000.<\/p>\n \u201cPersonally, this was the area I was viewing for a long time. With that said, yesterday\u2019s candle might have changed the outlook for many.<\/em><\/p>\n At a minimum I was viewing 34k to get tested once again. That is still a possibility of course.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n Bitcoin<\/a> is currently up 2% to $44,218 and has risen 27.2% from a weekly low of $34,740 on February 24th.<\/p>\n Check Price Action<\/a><\/span><\/em>\n
