It\u2019s the 15th week at #1 for the track which won The Kid Laroi the Best Artist and Best Pop Release trophies at the 2021 ARIA Awards. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stay<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> came in at #2 in the triple j Hottest 100, which was announced on 22 January. As it notches up 15 weeks at #1, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Stay<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> hits equal second on the list of most weeks at #1 on the ARIA Singles Chart, joining <\/span><b>Ed Sheeran<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s Shape Of You which hit #1 in January 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">This week\u2019s top ten also includes Hottest 100-related moves for <\/span><b>Lil Nas X<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> &amp; <\/span><b>Jack Harlow<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Industry Baby<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> with a jump from #11 to #5, and <\/span><b>Olivia Rodrigo<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Good 4 U<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> jumping from #16 to #9.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The ground-breaking week for <\/span><b>The Wiggles<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> continues with the iconic children\u2019s music group hitting #10 in the ARIA Singles Chart. Recorded for triple j\u2019s Like A Version segment in March 2021, the band\u2019s cover of <\/span><b>Tame Impala<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Elephant<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> took out #1 in this year\u2019s triple j Hottest 100. As well as being their first top ten entry, it becomes their first entry in the Singles Chart top 50. Their previous peak on the ARIA Singles Chart was with their cover of <\/span><b>Daddy Cool<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Eagle Rock<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> which hit #80 in March 2003.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Coming in at #9 in the Hottest 100, <\/span><b>R\u00fcf\u00fcs Du Sol<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On My Knees<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> re-enters the chart at #22, a new peak. The track previously spent a week at #43 in November 2021.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">There have been a slew of tracks move up the chart this week as a result of their entry in the Hottest 100: <\/span><b>Doja Cat<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Kiss Me More<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (#18 to #15), <\/span><b>Billie Eilish<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Happier Than Ever<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (#30 to #16), Lil Nas X\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">THATS WHAT I WANT<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (#21 to #18), <\/span><b>bbno$<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Edamame<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> feat <\/span><b>Rich Brian<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (#25 to #23), <\/span><b>Vance Joy\u2019<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Missing Piece<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (#27 to #25), Olivia Rodrigo\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Drivers License <\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">(#50 to #28), Lil Nas X\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Montero (Call Me By Your Name)<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> (#34 to #29), and Doja Cat\u2019s Need To Know (#49 to #40).<\/span><\/p>\n<p>Last year\u2019s Hottest 100 winner, <em>Heat Waves<\/em> by <strong>Glass Animals<\/strong>, also marks 60 weeks in the top 50.<\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">American singer-songwriter <\/span><b>Charlie Puth<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> hit the singles chart for the first time since 2017 with <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Light Switch<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at #24. It\u2019s the lead single from Puth\u2019s forthcoming third studio album <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Charlie<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, which is set for release sometime in 2022. Charlie Puth last appeared on the chart with <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">How Long<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> at #17 in December 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Perth band <\/span><b>Spacey Jane<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> claim their second ARIA top 50 entry of their career as they debut at #34 with Lots Of Nothing. The track, which placed at #3 in the triple j Hottest 100, hits the chart a year on from their first entry with <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Booster Seat<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> which went on to win Song Of The Year at the 2021 ARIA Awards.<\/span><\/p>\n<h3><b>Albums<\/b><\/h3>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">American star <\/span><b>Meat Loaf<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> hits #1 on the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.aria.com.au\/\" rel=\"noopener\">ARIA<\/a> Albums Chart with his mammoth album <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bat Out Of Hell<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">. It becomes the album\u2019s ninth week at #1 in Australia, having initially spent eight straight weeks in the top spot between June and August 1978. <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bat Out Of Hell<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> has been accredited 25x Platinum in Australia. The sequel album <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bat Out Of Hell II: Back Into Hell<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 which topped the chart in September 1993 \u2013 has also re-entered the chart this week at #37. Meat Loaf \u2013 born <\/span><b>Michael Lee Aday<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> \u2013 died on 20 January, aged 74.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The span of 2,269 weeks between <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Bat Out Of Hell\u2019s<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> last appearance at #1 and this week is now the longest gap in Australian charts history, surpassing the <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Grease<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> soundtrack, which had 657 weeks between #1s (November 1978 through to June 1991).<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Five weeks into its run in the ARIA Albums Chart, the soundtrack to Disney\u2019s <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Encanto<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> moves up two spots to hit a new peak at #2. This week, the album\u2019s singles <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">We Don\u2019t Talk About Bruno<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> and <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Surface Pressure<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> are at #11 and #21, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sing 2<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> soundtrack jumps up four spots to hit the top ten for the first time at #9. The soundtrack for the original <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Sing<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> peaked at #2 in January 2017.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">After taking out two spots in the Hottest 100, <\/span><b>Billie Eilish<\/b><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> jumps from #19 to #14 with her second album, <\/span><i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Happier Than Ever<\/span><\/i><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">.
