A savvy trader who sold Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>) at its peak has returned to the crypto markets, accumulating BTC, Ethereum (ETH<\/a>), and other altcoins.<\/p>\n In a new strategy session, pseudonymous crypto analyst DonAlt tells<\/a> his 45,100 YouTube subscribers that he\u2019s now looking to see whether BTC can hold onto an important support level.<\/p>\n The trader says Wednesday\u2019s massive daily candle is key, and he doesn\u2019t want to see BTC fully retrace to below the $17,065 area.<\/p>\n If it can hold the line, DonAlt says he\u2019ll be \u201chyper-bullish\u201d on the leading digital asset.<\/p>\n \u201cWe kind of have to hope that this daily green candle holds. You don\u2019t want to be trading anywhere below it, that starts looking fishy, but as long it does [hold], I\u2019m going to be hyper-bullish. <\/em><\/p>\n It just makes sense to me\u2026 I have the [proper] entry to kind of risk it, and I think it\u2019s a good risk-to-reward setup because the reward is massive and this risk is quite tiny.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n The analyst and trader, who first re-bought BTC in the low $16,000 range, also tells<\/a> his 447,200 Twitter followers that he\u2019s currently hanging on to ETH, Litecoin (LTC<\/a>) as well as Bitcoin.<\/p>\n When asked if he\u2019s been deterred by LTC\u2019s recent dip in price, DonAlt replies that he still plans on holding the peer-to-peer decentralized network.<\/p>\n \u201cYup, hold BTC > LTC > ETH. <\/em><\/p>\n Don\u2019t really care too much as long as USD [US Dollar] goes up on alts, got enough BTC to make me happy even if it solo runs.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n DonAlt then says<\/a> he also purchased XRP<\/a>, the digital asset that\u2019s a core part of Ripple Labs\u2019 payments platform.<\/p>\n \u201cFinished buying today. <\/em>Bought a bunch of BTC for the long term. <\/em>Bought a bunch of LTC as a trade. <\/em>Bought a little bit of XRP for the meme.\u201d <\/em><\/p>\n
