{"id":37848,"date":"2022-12-12T00:17:47","date_gmt":"2022-12-12T00:17:47","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/egrowonline.com\/?p=37848"},"modified":"2022-12-12T00:17:47","modified_gmt":"2022-12-12T00:17:47","slug":"ada-iogs-chief-commercial-officer-on-cardano-very-few-whales-very-few-insiders","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/egrowonline.com\/?p=37848","title":{"rendered":"$ADA: IOG\u2019s Chief Commercial Officer on Cardano: \u2018Very Few Whales, Very Few Insiders\u2019"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>In a recent interview, <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.linkedin.com\/in\/jerryfragiskatos\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Jerry Fragiskatos<\/a>, Chief Commercial Officer at <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/iohk.io\/\" rel=\"noopener\">Input Output Global<\/a>\u00a0(\u201cIOG), the blockchain technology firm responsible for the development of Cardano ($ADA), explained what makes Cardano different from many other blockchain projects.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyhodl.com\/2022\/12\/06\/iohk-executive-says-cardano-ada-and-crypto-in-the-dot-com-stage-of-development\/\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> by The Daily Hodl, Fragiskatos made his comments during an episode of Scott Melker\u2019s podcast that was released one week ago.<\/p>\n<p>Fragiskatos said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Another big differentiator of Cardano is that there are not many insiders. If you look at the distribution of ownership of ADA, it\u2019s primarily individuals. There are very few whales, very few insiders. There were no VCs that took 30%,40%, 50% of it. So that\u2019s another very different thing, which again, just comes from the mission vision and cascades down. The VCs [who are] like, Where\u2019s my ROI next year? Sorry, where\u2019s my ROI next quarter? If it\u2019s not there, they\u2019ll say it\u2019s a ghost chain. Plus they are also paid off by our competitors.
