It\u2019s a proven model that\u2019s helped build thousands of successful companies, all over the world.<\/p>\n<h5><strong>Benefits<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Access to Techstars resources for life;<\/li>\n<li>Acceleration in a 90-day Techstars mentorship-driven accelerator program with personal mentorship and office space;<\/li>\n<li>Lifetime access to the Techstars worldwide network of entrepreneurs, including more than 10,000 mentors, 10,000 investors, 1,600 alumni companies, and over 200 staff members;<\/li>\n<li>Access to over $400k of cash equivalent hosting, accounting, and legal support\u2014plus other credits and perks worth more than $5M;<\/li>\n<li>Demo Day exposure and other investor connections.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Funding Information<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>Upon acceptance to a Techstars Accelerator, Techstars contributes $20,000, which is commonly used as a stipend to support living expenses during the program, and in return receives 6% equity of the <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/business-industry\/\" rel=\"noopener\">company<\/a> (on a fully diluted basis, issued as common stock) until the company raises a priced equity financing of US $250,000 or more (a \u201cQualified Financing\u201d).<\/li>\n<li>However, if a company conducts a Network Launch using distributed ledger <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/science-and-technology\/\" rel=\"noopener\">technology<\/a> (i.e. a blockchain initial coin offering, token <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www2.fundsforngos.org\/category\/events\/\" rel=\"noopener\">event<\/a>, etc.), then Techstars will also receive 6% of the Token Reserve (i.e. the tokens \u201cheld back\u201d for the founders and the company at Network Launch). In addition, all accepted companies are offered a $100,000 convertible note.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<h5><strong>Eligibility Criteria<\/strong><\/h5>\n<ul>\n<li>The primary language that they\u00a0use in verbal and written communications during all accelerator programs\u2014in every country\u2014is English.<\/li>\n<li>That\u2019s up to you\u2014they\u00a0don\u2019t provide a place to live.
