Ethereum Tops $1,600 Following US Jobs Data; Dogecoin Becomes Top Loser<\/span><br \/>\n<i class=\"imgGrad\" \/>\n<\/div>\n<p> <strong \/> (CRYPTO: BTC), the most valued cryptocurrency in the world, traded higher on Friday following the release of US jobs data.<\/p>\n<p>The U.S. added 261,000 jobs last month, beating average economist estimates of 205,000 jobs. The U.S. unemployment rate came in at 3.7%, missing the 3.5% level.<\/p>\n<p><strong \/> (CRYPTO: ETH) also recorded gains, surpassing the $1,600 mark on Friday.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Loopring<\/strong> (CRYPTO: LRC) was the top gainer over the prior 24 hours, while <strong> <\/strong> (CRYPTO: DOGE) turned out to be the biggest loser after recording sharp growth over the previous few days.<\/p>\n<p>At the time of writing, the global crypto market cap rose to $1.04 trillion, recording a 24-hour gained of 4.1%.
