{"id":32104,"date":"2022-10-15T16:11:45","date_gmt":"2022-10-15T16:11:45","guid":{"rendered":"http:\/\/egrowonline.com\/?p=32104"},"modified":"2022-10-15T16:11:45","modified_gmt":"2022-10-15T16:11:45","slug":"bitwise-ceo-expects-the-new-bull-cycle-in-crypto-market-to-start-in-2023","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"http:\/\/egrowonline.com\/?p=32104","title":{"rendered":"Bitwise CEO Expects the New Bull Cycle in Crypto Market to Start in 2023"},"content":{"rendered":"<p> <br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Recently, Hunter Horsley, Co-Founder and CEO of Bitwise Asset Management, shared his thoughts on the crypto market.<\/p>\n<p>The Bitwise CEO\u2019s comments were made on October 10 during a conversation with Emily Chang on Bloomberg Television\u2019s daily show \u201cBloomberg Technology\u201d.<\/p>\n<p>According to a <a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/dailyhodl.com\/2022\/10\/11\/bitwise-ceo-says-fortunes-to-be-made-as-bitcoin-gears-up-for-new-bull-market-cycle\/\" rel=\"noopener\">report<\/a> by The Daily Hodl, Horsley said:<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>Crypto is down about 60%, or thereabouts \u2013 it\u2019s changing every day. So the story of this year is definitely a bear market. Nevertheless, we\u2019ve seen increased interest from our client base. And I think the backdrop for many crypto investors is that there have historically been four-year cycles, and while there are opportunities to make money in many crypto market moments, bear markets are the moments when fortunes can be made. So there are some that are positioning themselves in the current bear market and are coming into the space now.<\/em>..<\/p>\n<p>\u201c<em>The historical pattern of crypto with the data we have \u2013 12 years of a journey \u2013 is that we get four-year cycles. We get three years of bull markets with growing momentum and then we get a bear market year. So in 2014, the market down almost 60%. 2018 \u2013 market down north of 70%. And this year, obviously, 2022, the market down around 60%.
