Elon Musk is adding a new quirky product to his company\u2019s lineup of goods and services that can be paid for with crypto.<\/p>\n

The billionaire\u2019s tunneling startup Boring Company just launched<\/a> a perfume called Burnt Hair, which Musk describes<\/a> as \u201cthe finest fragrance on Earth.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cWith a name like mine, getting into the fragrance business was inevitable \u2013 why did I even fight it for so long!?\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Musk says his company accepts payments for the $100 perfume in Dogecoin (DOGE<\/a>). The world\u2019s richest man is a staunch advocate<\/a> of the dog-inspired token, favoring it over the leading cryptocurrency Bitcoin (BTC<\/a>). In an interview with Bloomberg News in June, he says he promotes the meme coin because of \u201cnot that wealthy\u201d people who encourage<\/a> him to buy and support the crypto asset.<\/p>\n

\u201cAnd you can pay with Doge!\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Buyers can also checkout using the crypto payment platform BitPay, which supports Bitcoin, Ethereum (ETH<\/a>), Bitcoin Cash (BCH<\/a>), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC<\/a>), ApeCoin (APE<\/a>), Litecoin (LTC<\/a>), Dogecoin, Shiba Inu (SHIB<\/a>), Euro Coin (EUROC<\/a>) and the dollar-pegged stablecoins Gemini Dollar (GUSD<\/a>), USD Coin (USDC<\/a>), Pax Dollar (USDP<\/a>), DAI<\/a>, and Binance USD (BUSD<\/a>).<\/p>\n

The foul-smelling fragrance is set for shipment in the first quarter of 2023, but Musk says<\/a> the perfume has already sold 10,000 bottles.<\/p>\n
