This week\u2019s guest on the <\/span>Cardano NFT Column <\/b>is an <\/span>anime project with most team members from Japan who have been successful in the Ethereum NFT world<\/b>: <\/span>Kabuki Tokyo<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Last week\u2019s guest<\/span><\/a> was a <\/span>project that is building the most epic fantasy universe to experience our love for fantasy and share meaningful experiences.<\/b><\/p>\n This initiative is a point of reference for <\/span>NFTs on Cardano <\/b>and every week or two we will invite someone to answer some questions and give us <\/span>an update directly from within the Cardano community<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n Considering that many of our readers are new to the crypto space<\/span>, <\/b>we will have a <\/span>mix of simple and technical questions<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n The team is composed of <\/span>almost all members from Japan<\/b>. I am <\/span>Yuri <\/b>and I\u2019m a <\/span>CNFT enthusiast <\/b>and an active member of the <\/span>Japan Cardano Community<\/b>. I have been a producer of <\/span>Pok\u00e9mon events<\/b>, and our <\/span>CTO Hayatti <\/b>is one of the<\/span> famous NFT influencers in Japan<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Shima Enaga<\/b> is our<\/span> creator <\/b>and has been a<\/span> character designer of Konami Digital Entertainment<\/b> and she is a <\/span>successful artist in the Ethereum space<\/b>. <\/span>ADA NinjaZ<\/span><\/a> is helping us <\/span>market our project to the West<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n We are thus composed of <\/span>Japanese who have succeeded in Ethereum <\/b>and who have a deep connection to Cardano and CNFT.<\/span><\/p>\n Kabuki Tokyo is an<\/span> anime NFT project <\/b>that aims to create a solid IP (Intellectual Property) with the <\/span>strong international community of Cardano<\/b>, the <\/span>Japanese NFT community<\/b>, and a <\/span>proven Japanese artist and production team<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n At the core of this IP are our <\/span>five characters<\/b> from completely different backgrounds. Each of them was <\/span>born in a different place, but ended up in Tokyo Roppongi<\/b>, where they are bounty hunters as hackers called <\/span>Kabuki Mono<\/b>. By becoming Kabuki Mono, they are trying to do what they think is right. They are trying to make a place for themselves by <\/span>pursuing justice<\/b>, while cooperating with and deceiving each other.<\/span><\/p>\n We will provide our <\/span>NFT holders with governance <\/b>to determine the content of the project and to participate in events. We will also <\/span>onboard many Japanese artists in the future so that our NFT holders will have access to the work of Japanese artists who migrate to Cardano<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n We chose Cardano because of its <\/span>solidity, safety, and good environmental performance<\/b>. And also because of the community that Cardano has, an atmosphere that is<\/span> inclusive of people of all races<\/b> and that can develop in cooperation with other projects, which is exactly what we thought would be appropriate for <\/span>creating IP by an international community<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n In Japan, <\/span>many people still view crypto and blockchain as something dubious<\/b>. However, with the recent announcement that a large Japanese company has decided to adopt <\/span>Cardano\u2019s Atala PRISM<\/b> technology to conduct a <\/span>Japanese government-led DID <\/b>demonstration, I believe that people\u2019s attitudes will gradually change.<\/span><\/p>\n NFT fans in Japan<\/b> are growing, with many projects that have recently been minted coming in the<\/span> top 100 of OpenSea<\/b> in terms of daily trading volume. This is surprising considering that almost exclusively Japanese NFT projects in Japan are purchased by almost only Japanese people.<\/span><\/p>\n And through this project, <\/span>we hope that many creators will also publish NFT on Cardano<\/b>. We would also like to partner with successful Japanese projects in Ethereum and with other organizations and companies in promotion and other activities to <\/span>encourage them to enter the CNFT through our projects<\/b>. So now we\u2019re working to make big news in Japan by doing social activities with our partners and organizing events with our partner projects.<\/span><\/p>\n Our NFTs serves as a<\/span> function of governance<\/b>. Until now, <\/span>manga and anime have been created by a limited number of talented people and minds<\/b>, such as editors and mangaka at publishing companies. By using the governance function of NFTs, we will <\/span>create a new form of international IP that incorporates the input of many people\u2019s brains and cultural backgrounds.<\/b><\/p>\n It is especially <\/span>expensive to produce animation<\/b>. But with the new funding method using NFTs, and as our community grows, there will be <\/span>many sponsors for the community<\/b>.
