This week\u2019s guest on the <\/span>Cardano NFT Column <\/b>is a completely voluntary <\/span>charity fundraising campaign to support the 33 million+ victims of the devastating floods ravaging Pakistan<\/b>: <\/span>Cardano For Pakistan<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n Last week\u2019s guest<\/span><\/a> was an <\/span>event-based project focused on puzzles, cryptography and internet sleuthing.<\/b><\/p>\n This initiative is a point of reference for <\/span>NFTs on Cardano <\/b>and every week or two we will invite someone to answer some questions and give us <\/span>an update directly from within the Cardano community<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n Considering that many of our readers are new to the crypto space<\/span>, <\/b>we will have a <\/span>mix of simple and technical questions<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n Zushan:<\/b> Hey everyone, <\/span>Zushan<\/b> here. Based in <\/span>Australia<\/b>, born and raised in <\/span>Dubai<\/b>, but originally <\/span>Pakistani<\/b>. I\u2019ve been in CNFTs since the get go, and running <\/span>ADA NinjaZ<\/span><\/a> since September 2021, with my mates and team. I used to work in academia and government prior to going full-time in this space.<\/span><\/p>\n Max: <\/b>Hey my name is <\/span>Max.25<\/b> and I am based in <\/span>Switzerland<\/b> but born and raised in <\/span>the UK<\/b>! Been in space since 2021 and founded <\/span>Universe25<\/span><\/a> and <\/span>Fudbuddies<\/span><\/a> with a bunch of\u00a0 friends. I used to be a <\/span>creative director<\/b> by trade before dedicating my time fully to Web3.<\/span> Zushan: <\/b>Cardano for Pakistan is a <\/span>completely voluntary charity fundraising campaign <\/b>that involves a range of different creators from the <\/span>Cardano NFT <\/b>space, to <\/span>support the 33 million+ victims of the devastating floods ravaging Pakistan<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n There has been <\/span>minimal media coverage or attention on this front<\/b>, but 1\/3rd of the nation is submerged under water, and<\/span> deaths are taking place on a daily basis<\/b>. Everyone involved with Cardano for Pakistan is essentially working to <\/span>support and help those affected<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n There are several artists on board, including, but not limited to <\/span>V <\/b>(ADA NinjaZ),<\/span> Flavio<\/b> (Universe 25),<\/span> Lucky One<\/b> (Lucky Planet), <\/span>Mac CC<\/b> (Cardano Casino, Project 2090, Boss Dao) <\/span>Masa<\/b> (Cyberbots) <\/span>Henry TG<\/b>, <\/span>Bung King<\/b>, <\/span>Pink Queen<\/b>, <\/span>Victor Warr<\/b>, <\/span>Joseph Miranda<\/b>, <\/span>SYIOK<\/b>, <\/span>Mosie<\/b>, <\/span>Kimosabe Art<\/b>, <\/span>Olie<\/b> (SpaceBudz), <\/span>ADA Army<\/b>, <\/span>Cozmos<\/b> (Pendulum) <\/span>Sampoo<\/b>, <\/span>ExeDeb<\/b> (Curse NFT) and more.<\/span><\/p>\n All of these incredible artists have taken the time out from their very busy schedules to <\/span>create amazing art pieces that will be minted by the top donors as NFTs<\/b>. Each artist is creating 1 piece of art, with 5 colour variations.<\/span><\/p>\n Additionally, Max from Universe 25 and myself (Zushan from ADA NinjaZ) are <\/span>project managing the campaign<\/b>, with <\/span>Aly injector <\/b>from <\/span>JPG Store<\/b> and<\/span> Thara <\/b>supporting us on the marketing front.<\/span><\/p>\n We\u2019ve been quite fortunate to also receive support and backing from <\/span>NMKR<\/span><\/a> & <\/span>LE4F Agency<\/b>, who will be providing our <\/span>minting solutions<\/b>, and <\/span>front end development<\/b>, respectively.<\/span><\/p>\n There are a few other businesses in the space who are interested in backing us and also donating, that we\u2019ll be announcing shortly<\/span><\/p>\n Zushan<\/b>: We hope for <\/span>donations to be live by Monday, 19th September<\/b>. There will be a donation button on the<\/span> Cardano For Pakistan website<\/b>, where you will be able to donate anything above <\/span>15 ADA.<\/b><\/p>\n For every donation, you will receive a<\/span> \u201cReceipt\u201d NFT <\/b>made by the amazing Henry TG.<\/span><\/p>\n Additionally, the<\/span> top donors will receive 1 of the 100-150 NFTs at random<\/b>.<\/span><\/p>\n We are going to <\/span>donate all the funds <\/b>to <\/span>Savepakistan.crypto<\/span><\/a>, an initiative led by the <\/span>Tayaba<\/span><\/a> organisation in Pakistan, that acts as a <\/span>crypto aggregator<\/b>, and has hundreds of different organisations they are in touch with, on the ground, in Pakistan.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n They are able to <\/span>ascertain that the money is used in the right manner<\/b> and delivered directly to the people who need it most.<\/span><\/p>\n Max: <\/b>Currently Pakistan is <\/span>paying a massive price for our global climate change<\/b>. The flood has caused a<\/span> potential economical loss of $30B<\/b>, besides the economical loss that Pakistan will need to recover from, we are seeing <\/span>over 6.4M people being left behind with inadequate access to basic needs such as housing, food, water, medical aid, etc<\/b>.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Even once the flood has cleared, it may take years for Pakistan to fully recover from this catastrophe. We hope that beyond just donating, people understand that global warming has an impact on humans. This isn\u2019t about who causes climate change or who is responsible for it, but rather accepting that we are part of a generation that has to do what we can to fight climate change. Small changes often have the biggest impact.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Max: <\/b>Personally I think this really isn\u2019t there is any advantage from a tech perspective but rather from the<\/span> perspective of a strong community!<\/b> The Crypto space overall is a tight group of people that are all in the same boat wanting a brighter financial future for the next generation.
