Open SaaS eCommerce platform <\/span>BigCommerce<\/span><\/a> is bringing cryptocurrency payment solutions to its clients in select countries through strategic partnerships with the crypto app <\/span>BitPay<\/span><\/a> and global crypto payment gateway <\/span>CoinPayments<\/span><\/a>.<\/span><\/p>\n

The partnerships will widen BigCommerce\u2019s crypto ecosystem, which will open up opportunities for its merchants to offer payment options, expand into new markets, and tap innovation to go global, according to a <\/span>press release<\/span><\/a> on Thursday (Sept. 15).<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cExpanding our crypto ecosystem to include trusted best-of-breed partners is just one step towards driving innovation and growth for our merchants,\u201d said <\/span>Marc Ostryniec<\/span><\/a>, chief sales officer at BigCommerce.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u201cA new era of consumers are passionate about transacting using crypto, and we\u2019re helping them do it. Merchants embracing this new technology can remain relevant and maintain a cutting edge as the world of payments continues to shift to digital currency,\u201d Ostryniec added.<\/span><\/p>\n

Single-click integration means merchants can quickly begin offering cryptocurrency as another payment method. BigCommerce also enables merchants to choose the cryptocurrency payment solutions that will work best for their stores.<\/span><\/p>\n

BitPay enables merchants to accept numerous cryptocurrencies including Bitcoin (BTC), Ethereum (ETH), Dogecoin (DOGE), Bitcoin Cash (BCH), Shiba Inu (SHIB), Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC), Litecoin (LTC), XRP (XRP) and 5 USD-pegged stablecoins (BUSD, DAI, GUSD, USDC, and USDP).<\/span><\/p>\n
