Coinbase just added six new altcoins to its listing roadmap, which puts the tokens on the path toward being listed on its burgeoning roster of tradable digtal assets.<\/span><\/p>\n The exchange says it plans to include the decentralized finance (DeFi) protocol Convex Finance (<\/span>CVX<\/span><\/a>), along with data monetization protocol\u00a0Ocean Protocol (<\/span>OCEAN<\/span><\/a>), retail business-focused Pundi X (<\/span>PUNDIX<\/span><\/a>), decentralized exchange Injective (<\/span>INJ<\/span><\/a>), content streaming protocol Audius (<\/span>AUDIO<\/span><\/a>), and NFT project XMON (<\/span>XMON<\/span><\/a>) to its roadmap.<\/span><\/p>\n Transfers and trading of these assets will not be supported though until their listing is officially announced.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cAssets added to the roadmap today: Convex Finance (CVX), Ocean Protocol (OCEAN), Pundi X (PUNDIX), Injective (INJ), Audius (AUDIO), and XMON (XMON).\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n The firm also says that Tether\u2019s <\/span>USDT<\/span><\/a>, the largest stablecoin in the world,\u00a0is now available to users in 31 countries. <\/span><\/p>\n The countries include Australia, Benin, Brazil, Burkina Faso, Colombia, Costa Rica, Ecuador, El Salvador. Ghana, Guatemala, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Jamaica, Jordan, Kenya, Kuwait, Madagascar, Mali, Mexico, Mongolia, Nepal, Pakistan, Panama, Peru, Philippines, Serbia, Sri Lanka, Taiwan, Uganda, Venezuela and Zambia.<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cUSDT is now available to residents in 31 countries\u2026Users can log in to buy, sell, convert, send, receive, or store this asset at Coinbase.com, the Coinbase iOS and Android apps, on [the Coinbase exchange], Advanced Trade and Coinbase Pro.\u201d<\/span><\/i><\/p>\n Last month, Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong said<\/a> the exchange aims to list as many crypto assets as possible, as long they meet the company\u2019s standards.<\/p>\n \u201cIt\u2019s kind of like Amazon or something like that where a product might have three stars or it might have five stars, but if it starts to get one star consistently, it\u2019s probably fraudulent or defective or something and maybe Amazon will remove it.
