An autonomous bot that\u2019s been outperforming the crypto market by using data from weekly surveys of traders shows a bullish leaning towards Ethereum, Solana and two additional smart contract altcoins.<\/p>\n

The Real Vision Bot was co-developed by quant analyst and hedge fund CEO Mortiz Seibert as a way to obtain signals and gauge trader sentiment from fans of the financial content platform Real Vision.<\/p>\n

Real Vision says the bot has had an \u2018astonishing\u2019 record of outperforming the aggregated bucket of top 20 cryptos by more than 20% \u2013 simply by surveying the preferences of traders.<\/p>\n

The latest survey results show a slight reshuffling of the dozen most popular crypto assets compared to last week. Traders still prefer a portfolio that is overweight in Ethereum<\/a> (ETH), with 39% of respondents selecting ETH as their number one coin to go heavy on.<\/p>\n

Smart contract platform competitor Solana<\/a> (SOL) is a close second at 33%, followed by open-source, decentralized blockchain network Algorand<\/a> (ALGO) at 24%.<\/p>\n

King crypto Bitcoin<\/a> (BTC) and smart contract platform Avalanche<\/a> (AVAX) tied for fourth at 23%.<\/p>\n

Multi-chain scaling solution Polygon<\/a> (MATIC) and cross-chain interoperability protocol Polkadot<\/a> (DOT) were a fraction behind in the rankings.<\/p>\n

Rounding out the top-10 crypto assets were stablecoin-focused Terra<\/a> (LUNA), decentralized oracle Chainlink<\/a> (LINK), and crypto exchange Binance\u2019s utility token BNB<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Close behind were a pair of scalable decentralized blockchain platforms, Cardano<\/a> (ADA) and Elrond<\/a> (EGLD).<\/p>\n

Falling out of the top dozen this week were the virtual gaming world Decentraland<\/a> (MANA), sports-focused Chiliz<\/a> (CHZ), non-fungible token (NFT) integrator Enjin Coin<\/a> (ENJ), and scalable blockchain platform Fantom<\/a> (FTM).<\/p>\n

Participants in the Real Vision Bot\u2019s surveys don\u2019t necessarily have to own the crypto in question in order to cast a vote for it. In an interview<\/a> with Real Vision, the bot\u2019s co-creator Moritz Seibert describes it as a \u201chive mind\u201d that is able to beat other entities in the crypto ecosystem.<\/p>\n

\u201cThis bot is really fascinating because it started as a research project, where we linked it up with a Real Vision Exchange to run paper portfolios based on weekly surveys, where what we wanted to find out is if there\u2019s a Real Vision hive mind that can beat the markets and that can also beat the interviewees, the professionals that are interviewed on the Real Vision platform.<\/em><\/p>\n

And so, as it turns out, there is a hive mind crypto portfolio that\u2019s far ahead of the bot run crypto portfolio and the experts and the market.\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n
