Did Africa beat us to the punch? They got <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.newsbtc.com\/news\/bitcoin\/dorsey-and-jay-zs-blind-trust-to-fund-bitcoin-development-reveals-board-members\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">the Dorsey\/Jay-Z fund<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">, and countries from that region are constantly present on Bitcoin media. On the Latin side of the world, things are oddly calm. After the effervescence that El Salvador caused, the whole continent felt on the verge of a breakthrough. It didn\u2019t happen. The moment passed. And here we are.<\/span><\/p>\n<p><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">On the other hand, both \u201cBitc\u00f3in\u201d and \u201cCriptomonedas\u201d <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.diariobitcoin.com\/curiosidades\/las-palabras-bitcoin-y-criptomoneda-entran-al-diccionario-de-la-real-academia-espanola\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">are now part<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> of the Real Academia Espa\u00f1ola dictionary. The organization is the official gatekeeper of Spanish as a whole, so this is as official as it gets. Notice the spelling of Bitcoin and expect to see it written like that in Spanish publications from now on. Such is the power of the RAE.\u00a0\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brazil: Regulation And New Ways To Buy Bitcoin<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Brazilian <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.diariobitcoin.com\/paises\/sur-america\/brasil\/brasil-discutiran-proyecto-de-ley-cripto-que-podria-eliminar-impuestos-mineria\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">regulators are discussing three projects<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> regarding cryptocurrencies. In general, it\u2019s the same old story that in every other country. They want exchanges to review their clients with strict AML procedures, tax everything, and little else. It\u2019s for the consumers\u2019 own good, though. <\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"><br \/><\/span><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">The only interesting thing in the Brazilian bills is that they\u2019re proposing zero taxes for PoW mining, as long as it\u2019s done with clean and renewable energy. Bitcoin is already the cleanest industry around, and it\u2019s on its way to changing the energy game for good. Which brings us to\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n<h2><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Argentina: Latin America Means Taxes<\/span><\/h2>\n<ul>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Atomico3 will be <\/span><a target=\"_blank\" href=\"https:\/\/www.diariobitcoin.com\/paises\/sur-america\/argentina\/atomico3-criptomoneda-de-litio-en-argentina\/\" rel=\"noopener\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">a stablecoin pegged to the price of Lithium.<\/span><\/a><span style=\"font-weight: 400\"> Pablo Rutigliano, head of The Argentine Chamber of Lithium, said: \u201cLatin America has the largest lithium reserves in the world, but the problem is that the price of the lithium market today is set in China. It\u2019s necessary that we form it locally and regionally.\u201d Do they need a stablecoin for that?<\/span><\/li>\n<li style=\"font-weight: 400\"><span style=\"font-weight: 400\">Argentina used to consider cryptocurrency transactions as cash-like, and they were exempt from tax.
