Just when you think you have seen enough, Bitcoin comes back again to surprise you. The crypto \u2018<\/span>Big Brother\u2019 <\/span>is smothering around the $29,000 zone and the future looks bleak at the moment. Bitcoin is about to end the ninth week on the bounce in losses as the larger crypto market continues to take hits.<\/span><\/p>\n The downward pressure on crypto since the turn of 2022 has resulted in major crypto losses. Around <\/span>$1 trillion<\/span><\/a> has already been marked off in the time frame as major cryptocurrencies continue to flounder. <\/span><\/p>\n Moving over to this weekend, Santiment <\/span>reported<\/span><\/a> that the profit ratio of transactions is \u201cdramatically low\u201d for Bitcoin. This is another bearish signal for BTC\u00a0 after the king coin ended another week in losses. Thus, edging closer to capitulation.<\/span><\/p>\n Source: Santiment<\/p>\n<\/div>\n According to data analytics platform BitInfoCharts, the number of addresses with a Bitcoin balance worth $1 million or more is 77,994. Among these, 72,130 had a balance of $1 million or more while a total of 5,864 addresses had a balance of $10 million.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Source: BitInfoCharts<\/p>\n<\/div>\n Interestingly, as of 5 January earlier this year, there were 90,902 addresses with more than $1 million stored in BTC. A further 8,190 addresses held more than $10 million in Bitcoin on the given date. This represented a nearly 20% drop in addresses holding more than $1 million.<\/span><\/p>\n In this regard, Michael Saylor, co-founder of MicroStrategy, a renowned Bitcoin investor recently <\/span>appeared<\/span><\/a> on Fox News. Saylor was full of praise for Bitcoin while quoting its massive growth during the pandemic.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u2018Traditional\u2019 indexes such as NASDAQ and S&P 500 were able to record 19% and 29% growth respectively.
