When Markus stumbled across the website shortly after its launch, he reached out to Palmer to make it a reality and began work on what\u2019s now known as Dogecoin. Upon launch, the cryptocurrency rapidly spread across social media. Within months, it hit a multi-million dollar\u00a0market capitalization<\/a>\u2026<\/em><\/p>\n –><\/p>\n –><\/p>\n \u201cDogecoin is based on a fork of\u00a0Litecoin (LTC)<\/a>\u00a0called Luckycoin.
