Cardano Founder Thinks Ethereum\u2019s Vitalik Buterin Is Not Updated About Happenings in the African Cryptocurrency Market.<\/strong><\/p>\n Cardano\u2019s Hoskinson believes Ethereum\u2019s Buterin has not followed his significant impact on the African cryptocurrency and blockchain industry.<\/p>\n Just saying https:\/\/t.co\/8V7QYexFWy<\/a> pic.twitter.com\/MCYNgBhuwy<\/a><\/p>\n \u2014 Charles Hoskinson (@IOHK_Charles) March 30, 2022<\/a><\/p>\n In what seemed like a subtle shade,<\/span> Charles Hoskinson<\/span><\/a>, the CEO and founder of Cardano, has responded to Ethereum\u2019s Vitalik Buterin\u2019s call to develop more useful blockchain projects that will foster the betterment of Zambia and Africa in general.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n A few days ago, Hakainde Hichilema, the President of Zambia made a tweet noting the potential of technology on citizens of the country,<\/span> adding<\/span><\/a>:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cGreat to see international leaders in tech sharing our vision for a modern and innovative #Zambia at the heart of the region.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Responding to President Hicilema\u2019s post, Buterin responded,<\/span> saying<\/span><\/a>:\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n \u201cLooking forward to seeing more blockchain and crypto projects make an impact in Zambia and in Africa more generally! Lots of work to be done in scalability, easy-to-use wallets and other important areas, but many unique opportunities as well.\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/em><\/p>\n Hoskinson Seemed Unhappy with Buterin<\/strong><\/p>\n Following Buterin\u2019s comment, Hoskinson felt his work, and that of the entire Cardano team towards the development of Africa, had not been closely followed by the Ethereum boss.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The Cardano boss, while quoting Buterin\u2019s post, shared a gif, which reads \u201cDude, where have you been?\u201d\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n Cardano\u2019s Progress in Africa\u00a0<\/strong><\/p>\n In recent times, part of Cardano\u2019s vision this year has been<\/span> to focus on unifying the global financial industry<\/span><\/a>, by creating a global economy, which will reduce income and wealth inequalities among nations, including Africa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n To make this vision a reality, Hoskinson disclosed last month that the Cardano team will be<\/span> launching a peer-to-peer (P2P) lending network<\/span><\/a> in Africa, specifically Kenya.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n The initiative, according to a 57-minute long video published by Hoskinson on popular media sharing platform YouTube, will result in billions of dollars flowing from developed countries to Africa.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n
