Viktor Radchenko, the founder of Trust Wallet, is stepping<\/a> down as CEO of the mobile cryptocurrency wallet company to spend more time with his family.<\/p>\n

Eowyn Chen, the current vice president of marketing at digital asset exchange Binance, will take his position.<\/p>\n

Radchenko has been the CEO of the decentralized crypto wallet company since its inception in 2017.<\/p>\n

Later, the Ukrainian sold the firm to Binance, run by Changpeng Zhao.<\/p>\n

Radchenko wrote on Twitter, \u201cI\u2019ve decided to step down from running Trust Wallet<\/a>.\u201d \u201cThe last 4-5 years have been an incredible journey of building and making crypto more accessible.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFrom now on, I\u2019ll take some time off to recuperate,\u201d he said, \u201cand then I\u2019ll continue to assist crypto flourish.\u201d<\/p>\n

Radchenko expressed confidence in his successor\u2019s ability to \u201ckeep pushing forward and bringing additional people into the Web 3 ecosystem.\u201d<\/p>\n

\u201cFor believing and supporting me since the early days and granting complete authority to our team to construct Trust Wallet,\u201d he praised Binance CEO Changpeng Zhao, also known as CZ.<\/p>\n

CZ lauded Viktor Radchenko as a \u201cgenuine crypto pioneer who has embraced the significance of trust, community, and decentralization from day one,\u201d according to a separate official statement.<\/p>\n

According to CoinGecko statistics, Trust Wallet Token (TWT) has declined 6.4 percent to $1.25 in the last 24 hours.<\/p>\n

Growth of Trust Wallet<\/h2>\n

When Trust Wallet has become one of the most extensively used mobile crypto wallets, Radchenko is stepping down.<\/p>\n

Radchenko claimed in a recent interview that he chose to design the wallet after having trouble keeping coins he purchased during the 2017 initial coin offering (ICO) craze.<\/p>\n

\u201cOn the mobile side, there were no devices that allowed you to save tokens directly on your phone.\u201d That was lacking, so I decided to make it myself. \u201cSo I constructed it,\u201d he recalled, \u201cand that was the first version of Trust that came out two weeks after I started working on it.\u201d<\/p>\n

Users may use Trust Wallet to store Ethereum (ETH) and over one million different digital currencies that follow Ethereum\u2019s requirements.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n
